Healthcare leaders go into healthcare to make a difference. The problem is, they end up sacrificing their health, time and relationships and miss out on enjoying life.
If you are like most healthcare leaders, you know the feeling of being constantly torn between your responsibilities and the things that matter most. You feel the tension between carrying out your purpose and spending quality time with your family and friends.
You may even feel so stretched that deep inside you know “something has to give” but you don’t know what to do and you feel stuck. You are always putting everybody else before yourself.
We’ve learned in order to be the best leader you can be, you need to prioritize taking care of YOU first.
We’ve been there, too.
We have gone from being burned out healthcare leaders and consultants working for large healthcare systems and industry giants, to discovering the secret sauce where we can make a difference and enjoy life!
We know what it feels like to be extremely passionate about what you do and at the same time feel overwhelmed by all the competing priorities, repeating challenges, and struggling to balance work and life.
We help leaders apply the right combination of processes, tools and habits through the methodology we call the Dynamic Balance Effect. We find it’s the secret sauce to being a thriving balanced and resilient leader.
The Roots Of Our Story And Work
We met on the first day of hospital orientation in 1986. You know the exercise, stand up and shake a hand (that was back when you could shake hands ☺) of someone you don’t know. The Michelle and Tracy clasp and handshake began a lifelong partnership and friendship.
Reflecting back, it has been a guided journey with significant stepping stones along the way. We led point of care transformation together as critical care clinicians and eventually were key leaders of a large healthcare consortium co-creating healthy healing work cultures.
Along the way we began planning a future where we could leave our legacy and help thousands of healthcare leaders just like us.
The birth of MissingLogic
We started MissingLogic in 2018 to bring our combined heads and hearts together to serve other burned out healthcare leaders to live a resilient and balanced life, and to work with healthcare organizations committed to creating healthy, healing work cultures.

We have been BFFs for nearly three decades and our husbands are, too! Over the years we have learned just a few things on how to enjoy life. ☺
Traveling to exotic places, golfing, boating and spending quality time with family are all on the top of our list.
Cheers!
