Episode #50: Healthy Relationships:  An Essential Component of Leadership Success and a Joyful Life but How Do You Develop Them?

Introduction to the Episode:

“Relationships are all there is”- Meg Wheatley

Let’s face it, growing up many of us were not taught how to develop healthy relationships.  We learned about relationships and how to be in a relationship by observing others.

We are thrilled to be talking about relationships during this milestone episode.  Relationships are the foundation of our business and the cornerstone of who we are as healthcare leaders, business partners and best friends.

During this episode we are going to share the relationship principles that have shaped our beliefs and relationship behaviors over the past 30 years. We’ve taught these principles to thousands of clinicians and healthcare leaders who utilized them as the foundation for their healthy healing work cultures.  The principles are timeless and apply to any type of relationship.

You probably already know that relationships are the corner stone of leadership success and an essential component of a healthy, joyful life. That’s why healthy relationships is one of the Living Principles in Pillar 1 of our Dynamic Balance Effect.

Unhealthy relationships are a source of stress that can weigh you down and hold you back from being a thriving, balanced and resilient leader.

If you are a leader who feels micromanaged, struggles to enlist the support of others, feels lonely at the top or doesn’t know how to improve your relationships, this episode is especially important for you.

You may or may not have already realized the quality of your relationships begins with you.  If you haven’t been exposed to or learned how to engage in healthy relationships, this episode is a gift.

Listen and lead by example!
