Episode 152: A Caring Series: Caring for Each Other

Episode 152: A Caring Series: Caring for Each Other

In this third and final episode of our 3-part series, we talk about Caring for Each Other and how you can spend more time caring for each other in your leadership teams as fellow leaders and friends.

We know that new leaders feel incredibly lonely as they have been literally "thrown in" into leadership roles with minimal management experience and have so much to navigate through the constant stress and change. In fact, it's not uncommon for most healthcare leaders these days to "feel alone."

The other thing is that healthcare leaders often feel isolated because they have a fear of being seen as weak, especially when leaders have been indoctrinated to become strong, so there's a fear of saying we need to "Care for Each Other."

In this podcast, we talk about some examples of Caring for Each Other and how it's different from Caring for Others.

We also talk about the Gallup published article in 2018: Why We Need Best Friends at Work and some of the limiting beliefs about building relationships at work.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

03:09 - How Caring for Each Other is different from Caring for Others

10:56 - About the Gallup published article in 2018: Why We Need Best Friends at Work

12:39 - About the limiting beliefs about building relationships at work
