In this episode, we talk with our special guest Dr. Shelley Cohen Conrad about the resilience and well-being of healthcare professionals during extraordinary times.


Shelley is the Director of the Center for Excellence in Collaborative Education at the University of New England and a professor at the University of New England School of Social Work.


She graduated from Boston University in Developmental Psychology and received an MSW and PhD in Social Work from Simmons University in Boston. In 2014, she was inducted as a distinguished scholar and fellow in the National Academies of Practice (NAP), and the Social Work Academy.


Shelly discusses her keynote presentation at the 2022 NAP Annual Forum on resilience and the approach she took to ensure she represented the perspectives of many health professionals on the topic of resilience.


We also talk about Individual and Team Resilience and some interventions or experiences to make the most significant difference in being resilient.
